UPDATE: September 14, 2012 at 11 AM: This fire is currently contained at 1-2 acres, per USFS. Air and ground forces are currently working to keep the fire contained.
A vegetation fire was reported on Ascension Mountain, off Hwy 120. Engines are responding to that location at this time.
This is in the Stanislaus National Forest, on the Tuolumne County side. A helicopter is being used to help battle this fire. We are attempting to get more information.
