On September 5, 2012 Donald Madrid, (74) of Valley Springs, was arrested on Barbour St. in Valley Springs, for allegedly being Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor, and Possession of Marijuana under 28.5 grams, an infraction, Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale, Committing or Attempting a Felony, Enhancement for Attempted Felony, Using a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Firearm, and Attempted murder of a Peace Officer, all felonies.
Madrid was booked into the Calaveras County Jail by a deputy sheriff.
