September 13, 2012 at 12 Noon: CHP just received a call that there is a vehicle accident on Hwy 12 at Briski Rd between San Andreas and Valley Springs.
An ambulance, fire and CHP unit are enroute at this time. It is reportedly a solo vehicle that ran off the roadway and through a fence. A tow truck has been sent to the scene.
CHP reports now that the driver was gone when they arrived at the scene. They are trying to get an ID on whoever had the accident.
Use caution if driving in that area.
