As much criticizm as Fish and Game has had lately, including insults hurled at them when some guy named Kleinfelter came to the Board of Supervisors during public comments to ask for more money, an interesting thing happened this morning.
It seems that the channel used for Fire on the radios was being used by guys yakking in the Tuolumne Calaveras CDF unit.
One of the dispatchers got on the radio and told them to be quiet, that they were working on a fire. Fish and Game indicated something wrong with their radios, although very vague.
He did obey the dispatcher, however.
