The long-suffering residents of Copperopolis should be attending the Copperopolis Community Plan meetings, even if the feeling of hopelessness of anyone listening haunts you.
The next meeting is December 3, 2012 and will be held in the fire training room. We understand that you must contact Darcy at the Planning Department to get permission to speak, which doesn't seem right, but at least try.
You who live there will have to live with the consequences of no one but developers controlling your community plan.
If you are given a hard time, or they refuse to allow you to speak, please let us know. We will be following, especially as the regime changes from Tryon to Ponte, to see if there are any improvements.
