PG&E Employee Killed in Sacramento

   UPDATE:  The Yolo County Coronors has released that Tommy Flippo is the  PG&E employee who died in the crash in Sacramento

   UPDATE: Friday 6 PM: There is a possibility that the driver had a heart attack. More will be known after an autopsy. He had nearly 30 years of service with PG&E, we are told..

    UPDATE  7:30 AM:  We understand that the pole the PG&E truck hit was clarified as actually a signal. The truck hit hard enough that the frame appeared to be bent and the cab badly mangled.

   The workers name has not yet been released, but we understand it was one of their older employees. The accident occurred around 2 AM.


   We just heard the sad news that in the middle of the night, a PG&E employee, who was on duty, hit a power pole with his bucket truck and died in the accident.

   An investigation is underway to try and find out what happened.
