Warm Temperatures Bring Rain; Snow at Very High Elevations

The fact that this series of rainstorms are more of the warm "pineapple express" type means that even at 3500' early this morning, it was 50 degrees.

The chains required sign that CalTrans posts yesterday was clear up at Bear Valley. At least the resort is getting some snow for ski season.

It is expected that yet another storm is headed in tonight, and for the next 3 days you can expect rain off and on.
