A new type of criminal prank, called "swatting" happened to a family in Florida this week, when someone notified the police that a murder had occurred at an out-of-date previous address from an X box game.
The family in Florida, horrified, thought a home invasion was occurring, when 40 cops in swat gear showed up at their home. Apparently this prank is happening more often than authorities like to admit.
