In Germany, a large metal cookie was stolen from a display outside of a cookie factory. Later, a ransom note was delivered to a local newspaper, saying that they would put the cookies in Oscars garbage can unless its demands were met.
The demand was that the company deliver cookies to a children's hospital; not just any cookes, but chocolate cookies.
The ransom letter had a picture of someone dressed in a cookie monster costume with it.
