A two year old in Georgia was struck by a falling tree branch in superstorm Sandy. While he was in the hospital, he contracted life threatening infections, he family says.
He initially suffered brain damage and underwent surgery at that time and has been in the hospital ever since, as he now has bacterial meningitis, according to his mother.
The boy, Tripp, is still in the ICU.
