The Sacramento County Elections Department reported that one of its employees has discovered a bag of 407 uncounted ballots from the Nov. 6, 2012 election.
Cast at the local community center they were mistakenly put into a bag usually used for excess supplies.
After checking to see if any races could have been affected by these ballots, notifying the county the State and counsel, they were put on a shelf unopened for hold until they are shredded.
If that happened in Calaveras County, it could mean the difference in an election.
