Did you see HLN this morning were discussing how many homes were lost in the Black Forest Fire in Colorado, and apparently many feel there was not enough fire protection.
Apparently many are turning to insurance companies, who are interested in saving the people's homes they have insured.
Some are issuing insurance policies that sends a PERSONAL FIRE CREW to protect YOUR HOME if you carry their insurance.
This could be a real boon to those who live in areas of frequent fires. They mentioned Chubb Insurance. We are checking it out and will let you know what we discover.
The problem is that Fire Departments, CDF, etc. not only do not have enough people and vehicles to protect homes, but they pull back if the management thinks it could be dangerous, leaving homes to burn.
This could get interesting!!
