Everyone knows about it, but no one seems to admit what has caused the businesses in the Arnold area to close or leave the area.
The business owners who are left in Ebbetts Pass will tell you, though. Its about bad leadership, especially of current elected officials.
If you drive through Arnold on Hwy 4 you will see empty buildings and half empty shopping centers. After many years of good jobs, and thriving businesses, Arnold appears to have DIED!!
Bad policies of over-regulation, harassment and anti-job, pro-welfare have been pushed in the county, it is no wonder.
The extremist environmental forces have full control of Supervisors, who actually seem to detest businesses, instead of considering them the positive force in Ebbetts Pass.
Drugs, crime and general neglect are now the mainstay in the entire county, but seem worse in Arnold.

If they could have survived until the long touted, discussed, slow moving broadband got there. Prosperity everywhere. Who is pushing that now?
