Water Sting!!

   In Los Angeles, NBC LA did a study on elected officials who have issued mandates for cutting water usage by homeowners.

   In a shocking "sting" they found that some of the worst water wasters were these same elected officials who have forced homeowners to cut back. They were watering every night.  One councilman said,  "If I don't keep my lawn green I lose property value!"

   Well, DUH, how do you think the rest of us feel. Our roses are dying, our lawns are brown, and you have been wasting water all along. Not one of them had been fined the $500 a day.

     I'd like to see an investigation of elected officials here in Calaveras County, wouldn't you?
