It seems that Edward Snowden has made some indications that he would like to return to the US, and his attorneys are apparently in talks with authorities on how that could happen.
The government took a hard line on the whistleblower regarding the NSA tactics he made public. Since the original time of the incident the American public is mostly on the side of Snowden.
