UPDATE at 6:45 AM: Fire crews report they believe they have knocked down the fire in the garage, and do not find it spread into the residence. The Altaville Melones water tender was cancelled.
UPDATE at 6:35 AM: First on scene report black smoke showing from the residence.
March 30, 2015 at 6:20 AM: A structure fire has been reported on Shell Road and Melones Dam Road in the Jamestown area.
CalFire crews are responding to the scene. Apparently this is centered in the garage area of the home. Water tenders have been dispatched to the fire.
