According to the Calaveras Sheriff, on March 3, 2015, deputies arrested Joseph Lee Chibicki (32) of Murphys at the Murphys Hotel for alleged False Imprisonment with Violence and Infliction of Corporal Injury on a Spouse, both felonies and for Damaging or Destroying a Wireless Device, a misdemeanor.
There was also a Misdemeanor local warrant outstanding for alleged Possession of Controlled Substance. Chibicki was booked into the Calaveras County Jail.
