If yesterdays handshake with Raul Castro yesterday means anything, a new era in relations with that country, after 50 years of wasted animosity, will soon end.
Now there is talk that each country will now place embassies in the other's capitol. It's past time for us to normalize relations with this country, so close to our shores.
