It used to be that California led the country in progressive ideas and policies. However, in the assisted suicide debate, the physicians lobbies have prevented the Assisted Suicide law for years.
Late yesterday, October 5, 2015 Governor Brown signed the new bill into law, allowing those with less that 6 months to live, and with sufficient mental capabilities, to get the help they need in ending their suffering. It's about time, California!
