UPDATE: It has now been told to CHP that someone hit a cow earlier and left the scene. They are trying to corral others that are out.
October 25, 2015 at 7 AM: An injured cow has been reported at Rawhide Road and Shell Road in the Jamestown area.
At first thought to have been hit by a car, it now appears that the cow broke its leg stepping into a cattle grate. CHP is at the scene. Animal Control has been notified.
