UPDATE: Caltrans plows reappeared not too long after this was posted. Now there's a collision on Hwy 4 in Murphys.
December 24, 2015 at 11:30 AM; No sign of Caltrans in the last 45 minutes. Looks like they've got their hands full above Arnold. Cars are getting stuck in many locations.
They have to keep Hwy 4 passable to Bear Valley. Meanwhile the snow is piling up from Arnold to Murphys. Vehicles are able to navigate if they go very slowly.
