Dear Editor: I've been reading here and in other places about Mr. Edson pushing a Resource Conservation District in Calaveras County.
Over the weekend I saw a man who works for CCWD, Joel Metzger promoting this idea with Mr. Edson and I wondered why? Is Mr. Metzger being disingenuous?
Now I'm told that this is actually another government agency, which we will be required to pay taxes to. Is that true?? Why has Mr. Edson neglected to tell us that?
Another thing I want to know is how it will give Calaveras County more water? The only water I see would be collected at Melones by CCWD and they plan to sell it, not give it to us.
So who is lying? Is it Mr. Edson, the Chairman of the Calaveras Supervisors, and why? Would you please do some more investigation and let us know. Thank you.

I would also appreciate knowing more, but am totally and completely against ANY new government agency and ANY new TAXES.
I've noticed Edson is being betrayed lately. He didn't get many of the weird things he wanted at the sheriff meeting. He is definitely a bully and wants his way.
No wonder people are running against him. What's wrong with him?

So Far, the only known competition to Edson is the loser Tofanelli. That retirement means a lot to both Edson and Tofanelli. Who are you going to vote for? Rumor is there is a write in campaign forming for a third person.
