March 18, 2016: Around 12:50 AM CHP responded to a report of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle at Hess Avenue and Tuolumne Road in Standard.
Apparently the man had attempted to steal a vehicle, then ran and was hit by another car. He was taken to the hospital with major injuries. A Yellow Cab was involved in this incident.
