Cutting and pruning in Spring spreads bark beetle--SPI making it WORSE!!

SPI continues to damage more of
the forest by logging and clear-
cutting in Spring!  They don't
care about anything but their $$$

   According to the experts from TheUnion.com "When trees are actively fleshing out for spring, if you cut down trees, they can release pheromones that send a signal out that the bark beetles can detect.

     So, if you like Bark Beetles and want to see more trees die, just go right ahead and prune and cut now. If you don't want to spread them, wait until November. Ask the Fire Safe Council of Nevada County.
