On May 29, 2016 Calaveras Sheriff's deputies arrested Mark Andrew Brown (54) of San Andreas, at the DMV office on Mountain Ranch Road.
Brown was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged Assault with a Deadly Weapon not a Firearm, a felony, and for Battery on a Spouse, a misdemeanor. Interesting that Assault is a felony, but the actual Batter is only a misdemeanor??
