77 bags of meth in Sonora--Good Job, Tuolumne!

too, but not much appears to be
done about it!
   On May 27, 2016 around noon a Tuolumne County Sheriff's deputy pulled over a Volkswagen on Mono Way in Sonora for expired registration.

    Approximately 7.89 grams of methamphetamine,
a scale and 77 bags of individual baggies were found in the vehicle, according to the report.

   Per the Sheriff's Office Bonnie Palmer (31) of Sonora, a passenger in the vehicle admitted to allegedly being in possession of Methamphetamine.

   The driver, Matthew Cliburn (34) of Tuolumne allegedly admitted to possessing the Methamphetamine for the purpose of sales and had been transporting it for 3 days.

     Both were arrested and booked into the Tuolumne County Jail for alleged Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession, Transporting a Controlled Substance for sale and Conspiracy to commit a crime.

    Cliburn was also booked for allegedly Driving without a license.  They are being held on $20,000 bail.
