Yes, it was one of the McmAnuses who recommended to the Angels Camp City Council last week to AGAIN raise the water rates to voters.
McmAnus stated that you either allow growth or you raise all the rates to the existing voters. Then she stated that during the drought the City threatened people not to use water and now they don't use as much.
Therefore, McmAnus said, you have to raise the price of water in order to pay all your raises in wages to employees, plus benefits! The City Council seems to be agreeing!! The decision has not yet been made, but it will, watch and see!!
They still have a loan for infrastructure that they haven't yet paid off. And now they need infrastructure. Stop all growth! Stick it to the voters already here!
