Methamphetamine arrest in Angels Camp

   According to Angels Camp PD, on May 6, 2017 an officer conducted a traffic stop of a red Ford Expedition for driving on the left side
of the roadway on Amador Avenue.

   The driver of the vehicle was identified as 39 year old Arnold resident resident William Roraback.

     While speaking to Roraback the officer could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.  The officer instructed Roraback to step fro the vehicle so the officer could search for the marijuana and any other drugs he may have in his possession.

   The officer locate 8 grams of methamphetamine, 7 grams of marijuana, 1 gram of hash, a methamphetamine smoking pipe, a digital scale and $ 2677.00 in cash.

   Rotaback was arrested and booked into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale and Transporting a Controlled Substance for Sale, both felonies and for Controlled Substance Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor and was released on bond.
