Ted Hickman, Vice-Mayor of Dixon, wrote a column in an independent newspaper that called for celebration of Straight Pride American Month (SPAM) and said "We are different from them...We work, have families, (and babies we make) enjoy and love the company (and marriage) of the opposite sex and don't flaunt our differences dressing up like fairies (sic) and prancing around by the thousands in a parade!"
Darrel Steinberg, Mayor of Sacramento, is calling for his resignation. I imagine Hickman doesn't like being referred to as a LUNATIC FRINGE, either!
