As of July 30, 2018 at 7:30 AM the Carr Fire has burned 98,724 acres and is now 20% contained.
723 homes, 3 commercial structures, 240 outbuildings have been destroyed, 159 residences, 4 commercial structures and 30 outbuildings have been damaged.
Six people have died so far, including 2 firefighters, a great-grandmother and her two great-grandchildren who were waiting to be rescued.
The devastation is horrendous. In the first half hour of this fire, a Calfire employee stated they were going to watch this fire. WATCH???? Delays cause these fires to grow to this insane level and size.
