Bear Cub treated for burns

A female bear cub found lying in the ashes of the Carr Fire and unable to walk due to painful burns on its paws, was taken to a wildlife rehab center for treatment.

Experimental fish skin treatment was used and the cubs paws healed quickly. It was released back into the wild a couple of days ago.

Several bears have been rescued from wildfires this year in California's mountains.
