On Saturday September 22, 2018 there will be a guided tour to Cougar Rock at sunset, which should be a wonderful experience if it is your first time there.However, if you are an inexperienced hiker, this hike is not a beginners hike. It is around 4 miles in total kind of like climbing a ninety story building? even with breaks.
Bring a headlamp or flashlight, bug repellent, a snack, water and warm layers. Use the parking lot on Valley View Drive and arrive by 5 PM as the group leaves at 5:15 PM.
