On June 13, 2020 Calaveras Sheriff rescue dive teams were called to the Whiskey Creek
area of Hogan Reservoir in Valley Springs for a missing swimmer.
Divers searched until 9 PM without success and resumed the search in the morning. They finally located the body of a 26 year old male and turned it over to the county coroner.
The name is being withheld for notification of kin.
