UPDATE on Walker Fire in Calaveras County

Taken from home in Copperopolis

   Per Calfire, as of June 17, 2020 at 7:15 AM the Walker Fire, between Hunt Road
and Copperopolis, has burned 1100 acres and is 10% contained.

   2 structures have now been destroyed and 50 are threatened. Circle XX has been evacuated. 10 engines 5 helicopters, 8 water tenders, 8 hand crews and 13 dozers and 4 air tankers are assigned to this fire.

   The cause is still under investigation.
