The Walker Fire, which started below Hogan Dam and above Copperopolis, is now
1000 acres in size.
No structures have been threatened, but many wonder what started this fire! It was 0% contained as of June 16, 2020 at 7:30PM.
The smoke could be seen from Sacramento. It was first reported around 5 PM.
