Fire in Copperopolis

   UPDATE:  Hwy 4 is back open. Fires on both sides of Hwy 4 have been contained. Hwy 4 had to be shut down for awhile.


UPDATE at 1:25 PM:  Fire is 2-3 acres at this time. Fire is at Stagecoach and Hwy 4. Wrong log issued at first.  Aircraft is assisting.


 UPDATE:  This fire was actually at the Horseshoe in Copperopolis.  Hwy 4 is shut down
for this fire. Avoid the area.

  July 11, 2020 at 12:50 PM:  A fire has been reported on Hwy 4 at Horseshoe Drive in Hathaway Pines.

   Several fire units are responding to the scene.
