Senator Ted Gaines tell us that he is always pleased to learn of so many college students eager to participate in state government and realize the value of the hands-on learning experience attained from an internship.
He is currently looking for intern candidates to volunteer for a semester in my district office located in Roseville.
And internship offers students a unique opportunity to assist staff in research, gain valuable experience aiding in constituent outreach and see the California legislative process in action.
All internships are non-paying positions. Students are strongly encouraged to work through their college or university to receive academic credit.
