Both Mayor Castro of San Antonio and First Lady Michelle Obama used their personal life experiences and those of their parents to bring out the reason why Democrats are who they are.
Absolutely brilliant speeches; Castro (and his identical twin brother are rising stars in the Party), talked about his grandmother who scrubbed floors so that he could have a better life.
Those in the auditorium and at home could relate to their stories, remembering their own fathers and mothers working so hard so that their children would have a better life.
"Being President doesn't change who you are, it REVEALS what you are!" Michelle Obama said of her husband.
The entire evening was geared towards inclusion; of women's rights, of the right to health care, and the right to love who you want. Good speeches, and good camera work.
