Letter to the Editor....About Citzens for a Better Calaveras

   Dear Editor:

A little while ago my husband came home and noticed that I was watching the TOT candidate thing and he asked "Who are those people in the Supervisor seats?"

When I told him that those were the heads of the non-profits who are making up the CBC political action committee, he sat down and said "What?"

Neither of us feel that those people are so important that they should be sitting above the existing or the candidates for Supervisor. We don't even understand why they were allowed to use the Supervisors Chambers.

Maybe this is the reason why no one wants to donate to your groups and you are falling apart. I can speak for one of them that I won't name.

Those old codgers don't want anyone younger or with any business brains to get control of their little "kingdom". They just want you to give them money.

   Learned my lesson--got out quick!!

If this was an example of the way they put on a fake show and try to pull the wool over the public's eyes, then they are all poor excuses for 501c3 leaders.

Gary Tofanelli is right!   Why should we give tax money to people who can't even take care of business now and we would have absolutely no control over ever?

Get a grip, people. You are a joke!  I'm out and I'm telling everyone to watch the video. That tells it all.

Why wasn't the landin Angels Camp, that Callaway gave the Humane Society mentioned at this meeting?

I hear they are holding out for a bigger parcel in San Andreas now.

The fact that they didn't even acknowledge that the existing Animal Shelter was now under the control of Environmental Health and that there's bordering land available for expansion, for a lot less that the Taj Majal the Humane Society wants to build, says it all. And if you disagree with them, you're an animal hater.
