Cause of Rancho Calaveras Fire

   CalFire released a report at 5 PM today, June 7, 2013, that the Rancho Calaveras Fire on Treosti
on June 4, 2013,  which destroyed one home and garage, along with 7 acres of grassland, was actually caused by an escaped campfire.

   A campfire in the middle of a subdivision? Was there a campfire burning with no one noticing it at 12 noon, soon after which the fire began?
