June 4, 2013: The Lone Fire, located on Palerm road and Lone Tree Road near Palermo in Butte County started as 3 separate fires along Lone Tree Road and merged into one.
2 residences and 7 outbuildings were destroyed. All evacuations have now been lifted as the fire is now 100% contained at 300 acres. The cause is still under investigation.
