What is this place called Sunnylands?

After hearing about President Obama meeting with the Chinese President at a place called Sunnylands in Rancho Mirage, we were curious.

This is a posh resort with modern architecture featuring a 20,000 foot main house and three cottages. It has a pink roof.

They host celebrities and politicians. It was formerly the Annenberg Estate, and recently underwent a $60.5 million renovation. It went public in March of 2012, and is also available for tours.

Dwight Eisenhower was the first President to play golf there, Richard Nixon used it as his hideout after his resignation, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton and George W. Bush have all been guests there at the estate.

Also, Frank Sinatra married his wife Barbara there in 1976. Queen Elizabeth, Fred Astaire, Clark Gable, and Bing Crosby have also stayed there.
