UPDATE at 8:48 AM: Apparently it has now been reported that the two women
took the Rite of Passage vehicle without permission.
September 21, 2013 at 8 AM: A traffic hazard was reported to CHP on Hwy 88 just east of Cooks Station; a white GMC Yukon is partially blocking a lane.
Rite of Passage in Calaveras County and Nevada were notified. They show the vehicle signed out to Wells/Jay Yest.
They are coming to the scene. Two women were seen walking westbound on Hwy 88 by Forest workers.
