In an unexpected move, the Maryland State Attorney in Baltimore, ruled Freddie Gray's death was a homicide and alleged that six officers are responsible for the crime.
Freddie, a 25 year old black man, died after his spine was partially
severed while in police custody. Some expected the investigation to be hidden or to find the officers innocent of any crime.
If only our Calaveras District Attorney had half the honor that the State Attorney in Baltimore has shown. The people there should be proud of her. Watch her announcement if you get a chance. She's amazing.
Sadly, DA Yook is terrified of challenging the Sheriff and/or his department due to a severe conflict of interest involving her husband. Could we possible offer a trade.
The Attorney in Baltimore brought tears to people's eyes, due to her passion and caring for the victim of that horrible crime. Mine too!! Here, the worst racist criminals run rampant over whomever they wish.
