At the May 26, 2015 Calaveras Supervisors meeting, only three Supervisors showed up, but regardless, led by D-5 Supervisor Kearney, who earlier fast-tracked an asphalt plant in his district, voted againstall builders in Calaveras County, approving the horrendous Housing Element in the General Plan.
Many had expressed earlier that Kearney was seeming to be pro-job, but this vote, which ends all possible building as landowners

This is further evidence that Republicans talk out of both sides of their mouths, as Vickie Reinke of the Republican club, requested they do; espouse what they believe and then vote the opposite way.
And is it any wonder people no longer trust Republicans, especially Tea Party types?

Have only Kearney to blame. Planning does what the Supe in the District wants. That's the way it is.
I certainly hope that Planning does what the Supe in the District wants.
What the hell good are they? Sorry but let's put Maurer and the planning department under the microscope.
Remember that there are a total of five (5) supervisors and a single supe is only one (1) vote.
