California elephants need our help!

Hard to believe, these gentle, intelligent
giants are not only tortured and killed
for their ivory in Africa, but regularly
abused in California for performances.

   Believe it or not, even here in California elephants are continuously mistreated; shocked, jabbed with bullhooks, and generally abused in order to get them to perform.

   If you can take it, go to the Animal Legal Defense Fund website and view the video yourself. Then encourage your elected state officials to pass a law against this abuse.
