Calaveras Supervisor Kearney RECALL likely???

Since becoming Supervisor of District 5, Steve Kearney, who had earlier professed to being a calm, deep-thinking moderate, has turned into a flaming tea potty extremist.

He continued his lack of desire to represent his constituents at the Calaveras Supervisors meeting on February 9, 2016 by trying to give Ford Construction EXTRA time beyond the rules to argue their case.  More on this hearing later.

Supervisor Steve Kearney has apparently ignored the District 5 homeowners and residents public concerns about lowered property values, health and environmental impacts by his support for the construction and operation of a toxic asphalt plant near our family homes and the Calaveras River.
Local medical Dr.s and the Calaveras County professional staff have asked for the normal CEQA environmental reviews and permitting process to be followed on this project.
Mr. Kearney and his out of town business supporters claim the asphalt plant will bring "lots of jobs" to county residents , so ignoring an unbiased professional review of the potential pollution hazards must be OK?
He calls us mostly retired and family homeowners opposing the potential community hazard "the elites"? Really?
Bad getting worse and time for a recall to correct a big mistake.
