Hope you will accept a letter about the 2016 election regarding Republicans. None of what is going on should be considered unexpected by the
Republican 'establishment'!
Ever since Ronald Reagan brought the extremist religious right into the party just to get more votes, this has been brewing. Then the white supremacists hated Obama so much they started their own movement.
Now the party has to decide whether to support Trump and his followers or to reject him and have him run as an independent and most certainly lose in November.
I am one of the many who was once a Republican, but no more. I don't know who I will vote for, but it won't be following the 'party line' as Republicans are expected to do.

We're with you - once republicans, now registered democrats. This republican party is NOT the same republican party of old - it is a new, rebellious, disrespectful, obstructionist party that ultimately will harm our country. Disgracefully it has come to this. Everyone should think about their values and which party NOW, TODAY aligns more with those values - not just what you have been loyal to in the past.
My thoughts are that listening to these supposed holier than thous who pretend NOT to be in the slightest racist is intolerable. They have welcomed then into and infact cater to them. what a joke. trump is simply using them to get elected and show the 'establlishment' who's boss and who might FIRE them.
Trump is racist and those who vote for him are undoubtedly racist! We need to move beyond racism! We have seen enough racism against President Obama by the republicans.
I never had any idea how many there are in this country, and in this county.
