We have followed Rosemary Wilson's problems after she lost everything due to the Butte Fire. She spoke again at the August 9, 2016 Calaveras Supervisor meeting.
Calaveras Supervisor Edson sent her to Calaveras Recovers where she spent some time applying for assistance.
She commented on Supervisor Debbie Ponte's apparent positive report on how wonderful Calaveras Recovers and the Calaveras Community Foundation has done, she found out that SHE WAS NOT EVEN IN THEIR SYSTEM!!
Shocking, but true!! What is going on. All this money and no one seems to know what is going on. The list of monies spent is simply on groups and wages, not on direct help to the VICTIMS.
