According to CHP on August 25, 2016 at approximately 12:05 PM Ana Bobrycki (17) of Valley Springs was driving a 2001 Toyota on Hwy 12 near Central Hill Road in the San Andreas area.
Willam Bray (94) of Valley Springs was driving a 2003 Ford in the opposite direction on Hwy 12 when Bobrycki, who CHP says was distracted, first drove off one edge and then crossed the double yellow lines toward Bray.
Bray tried to avoid a collision but was unsuccessful. He suffered minor injuries in the collision. Bobrycki was not injured.
